EXPLORIUM CLOSED THROUGH MAY 31

We are eager to have our visitors and members come play, engage and learn, but we can’t risk the health of our staff or our visitors. Although museums are allowed to open this Friday, we will not be. Explorium was designed to be a completely hands-on experience for families. We will remain closed until at least 5/31/20. We will be extending membership for the amount of time we remain closed for memberships that expired after 3/14/20. YAY! Here is what you can do while we wait for June 1st. Starting May 1st, our four science kits can be ordered online and picked up curbside. For more science kits information, click here. You can also start signing up for a private Friday evening and a Sunday birthday party. You can find party information by clicking here. Lastly, you can sign up for summer camps. We will be having our first summer camp June 8th through the 12th. We’ve extended our camp hours this year! Click here for more summer camp information. Thank you for supporting our fundraisers and thinking about us during this COVID-19 situation.

Upcoming Events

“We love coming here! It’s not your typical play place and that’s what I love. So many mind engaging activities and areas throughout that can keep all ages busy for hours. I appreciate the beautiful nursing room with a two-way mirror. I can keep an eye out while feeding my baby too!”

“Take your youngsters here! Let them choose where to go and what to do. You will be amazed at their level of engagement. I watched a very active 4-year-old boy spend over an hour, collecting “eggs,” putting them in a cloth bag, loading them on to a pulley and pulling them up. Later, he’d be the one to retrieve eggs and put them down a pipe to come out in the basket below. Children who have never met immediately cooperate. They love having the freedom to follow their whims to choose from the many activities. They are immensely engaged, while learning about the world and how they can interact with it. Best of all, they love it!”

“Perfect place to bring all the kiddos. Lots of engaging activities- physical, musical, artistic. Love that there is also a play area to contain my GRANDCHILDREN LOVED”
