Nature STEAM Camp
Camp Description: Nature Camp is perfect for young naturalists and explorers. Includes both museum and trail activities, and a live animal presentation! Connect to nature through STEAM- science, technology, engineering, art, and math! Play games, participate in cooperative group challenges, and do hands-on activities that engage curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills.We will practice outdoor skills, hike, create arts and crafts, conduct experiments, and learn about our local ecosystem! The last two days of camp, we will meet at Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center to immerse ourselves in the natural world. Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center: Campers must wear close-toe shoes good for hinking, bug spray, sunscreen, and long pants. Non-member price: 115 Member Price: 120

Dino Camp
Camp Description: Join Dino Bo for a fun filled summer camp hosted by the Explorium. Over the course of 2 days your kids will take on the role of junior paleontologists! Together we will learn how dinosaurs ate, hunted, and lived. Our Junior Paleontologists will also learn how to excavate and will search for and bring home real fossils! If these dates do not work for your family, there is a second round of Dino Camp offered in July! Non-member price: 85 Member Price: 80

Comp Sci Camp
Camp Description: Campers will practice fundamental coding skills. We will focus on strengthening the interest of coding & computation while engaging in fun hands-on STEAM based activities They will take the lead in building their own interactive programs in a visual coding language designed by the MIT Media Lab. With Scratch, they will create imaginative games, learn to code, collaborate on challanges and think critically to find solutions. Non-member price: 130 Member Price: 125

Junkyard STEAM Camp
Camp Description: Based on the show “Junkyard Wars.” We will focus on encouraging campers to build from the “junk” available in camp. Those plastic cups, cardboard boxes, and spoons you would normally recycle or throw away? In the eyes of a junkyard wars camper, they become a catapult or a mini-golf course. Campers will be given daily STEAM challenges and compete either as individuals or in small groups to that will engage curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills. They will not know what the challenge of the day is until they show up for camp. Non-member price: 130 Member Price: 125

Listen to Your Art Camp
Camp Description: How does physics or music fit in with painting? Come investigate the science of art and spark new love for different art mediums during our camp. Students will explore new techniques and further their artistic ability while being challange to use their creativity. We will also have an art show to display the works created at the end of camp! Camp Description: The Mythbusters mix scientific method, gleeful curiosity and plain old-fashioned ingenuity to create their own signature style of explosive experimentation. Using simple instructions and easy to find materials, you too can discover with us! We will focus on hands-on activities related to myths explored in Mythbusters: The Explosive Exhibition, track our findings and bust myths along the way! Non-member price: 130 Member Price: 125
